In the past I have accidentally written many bash and perl scripts with a C like style (which is odd since Perl is the second language I ever programmed in - asm was the first...). I have been making an effort to go back and undo several of the c-like styles in my scripts. Functionally nothing has changed at all but since they are meant for demonstration purposes (well most of them) I redid tarballs and branched where appropiate.
I changed a lot of the internal naming conventions in etu because
they do not make sense. Etu was initially conceived as a jpeg thumbnailer
but in reality it can re-size almost any open format to any dimensions. There
is probably some loss depending upon format and direction the image is going
but for people using it as a reference - just an FYI. Again - minor brnach
purely for pragmatic purposes.
Netward is very close to an initial release. It now does everything I set out
to do with and has been tested. At this point the name of the game is to iron
out some details and start thinking about the future. Here is where the
ChangeLog for netward is:
What is left for major release you ask? A few items...
For the longer term; there are a few things my friends and I have been kicking around but of course none of this is in stone:
The coding section has details on what can be downloaded
or just checked out of CVS. Note that the scripts module must be
checked out of CVS, it does not really have a package
.
